Cannot print from Access

Hello
I'm using Office 2003, and cannot print from Access, nor
create Reports
I can print ok from all other Office apps (Word, Excel,
Outlook, Powerpoint).
When I select File / Print, the cursor changes to a
hourglass then back to the pointer immediately. When I
hover over the printer icon, it shows (no printer).

Also I cannot create any reports (presumably the two are
linked.

I've reinstalled my printer, re-installed my language
settings (english-uk) and re-installed Access. Still
doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Ken,

Try this: Open the report, choose File, PageSetUp, click
on the Page tab and check to see if the Default or Use
Specific Printer is checked. It may be that it is looking
for a specific printer that is not on your network. Since
your other office products work and your printer is
apparently set up correctly, try clicking on default
printer. Good luck.

Ken,

I'm having the same problem on 2 different systems. The
problem is you cannot open the report. I've tried opening
the report in design mode and print preview. Nothing
happens in either situation.

I have the same problem: I can't open (view/design/print) reports in access
db nor I can create new reports.

One can say that database file is corrupted, but I tried to create new empty
database and then create new report - the result is the same: access fails
to create new report without any warning.

Other symptoms:
In visual basic editor reports aren't displayed - like database without
reports, or reports doesn't have code
I used "Run as..." and started access with another user and everything is
working

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I changed default printer to "Microsoft Office Document Image Writer" and
eveything is working, but when I set it back to my "real" printer again
everything is wrong

I installed my network printer as local printer (with TCP/IP port) and
everything is working fine
