Whenever I add 2 or more videos to the storyboard, I will not be able to play
the movie. The status of the video player will say 'Playing', but the movie
does not play. Or, the time will tick away on the video player, but I only
see a stagnant image of the first frame of the movie.

What can I do to solve this problem? Thank you.

The ones I tried were in mpeg format.
The movie could play if the only things I added to the storyboard were
pictures in jpg format. But as long I added a video in mpeg format to maybe a
series of pictures or even a title clip, the movie does not play anymore.

Thanks!

I just read that having a nVIDIA graphics card might affect the preview of
videos in Windows Movie Maker. I hav a nVIDIA graphics card (nVIDIA GEFORCE2
MX 400), I am going to download the latest driver to see if it solves the
problem.

I have downloaded the latest driver for my graphics card using Windows
Update. However, it doesn't seem to solve my problem at all.

What else can I do to solve this problem? Thank you.

Well that answers it.
MPG's do not work well in Movie Maker in fact MPEG-2's don't work at all.
Convert the files to AVI and then import them and I think your problem will
be solved.
