Can someone please, please, tell me why the mouse and menu bar functions
concerning pasting into Edit/Find dialog boxes in Microsoft Office apps does
not function in XP Professional? It worked fine in 2000! I am copying
correctly - and while I can get a workaround for pasting record/field/cell
info from one database table into another in Access- by simply moving tables
into the same database I am working in at a given time - the only way to
paste copied information into the Edit/Find/Replace dialog box in any table
or spreadsheet is using CNTL+V or Shift+Insert. It is not a big deal if you
are only trying to look up information about a few hundred recs, but I have
thousands upon thousands of individual records to search thru and it is so
time consuming to have to use the keyboard and not the mouse. If none of you
believe me, try it yourself - try to paste some bit of info into a Edit
/Search box. It does not work in either Access or Excel. Help, Help, Help! I
simply cannot believe I am the only person here that has not encountered
this, or why it was not put in to XP professional, unless it is just my
machine, and thus a flawed installation. Any help or correspondence, and a
fix, would be greatly appreciated! Regards, chris
