I have moved all .ost files to a different directory, deleted and
recreated profiles with different names I don't know how many times
now. Opened and closed outlook and rebooted many times. I still can
not open Outlook to even change settings for cached mode, like I read
on some post. I have added a reg entry CachedMode that I found on the
microsoft site. Nothing has worked. Please help if you have
suggestions.

Sorry for the confusion.

Trying to open Outlook 2007, when it tries to open it I get the
message "Cannot open your default e-mail folders. You must connect to
Microsfot Exchange with the current profile before you can syncronize
your folders with your offline folder file."

As I stated above I have:

Are you connecting from inside or outside your company?
What did your Exchange admin say?
You can always change your mail configuration via Control Panel-> Mail
