cannot open webparts in Frontpage 2003

When customising WSS sites on my laptop and try to open web-parts through the
task pane Frontpage and Sharepoint Designer both crash. Works fine on another
machine. Have reinstalled Frontpage but no luuck. Problem just started after
no problems for weeks.

Run the functions that clear:
The Hidden Temporary files.
The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.

Thanks for responding so quickly. The fix did not work. All other task pane
lists seem to work fine. Web parts also open OK in WSS.
