Hi,
I ran checkdisk yesterday after a fresh win2k install,
including SP4, critical updates, and a few applications.
I clicked yes when it said it would run next time I
rebooted my system. The first time I rebooted and
everytime after I'm getting the error message "Cannot open
volume for direct access"
Any ideas? I can keep it from restarting by modifying the
autochk key in the registry, but I want to know why I'm
getting the error so I can fix it. I have a lot more
software to install and don't want to install it if I need
to start over.
Thanks
