I have a win2k server running RRAS. Everything was fine
until I had the great idea of changing the name of the
server. After the name change, I cannot get into RRAS
server and/or properties of the RRAS server. I have seen
some articles about the remote reg serv needing to be
started, but that service is already running ( and has
been restart along with the RRAS service). The
interesting thing is the RRAS server still runs and users
are able to connect. When trying to open RRAS, I receive
an error: "Connection Attempt Failed. Server Service not
Started." After clearing the error messages, the RRAS
window does open and show the server with a "green
arrow". When trying to view the properties of the RRAS
server, I receive a message "You do not have the
permissions to view the properties". I am logged in as
Administrator, so I do not understand why I would have
permission problems.
Anybody have any ideas?
