I just switched from an XP desktop to a Vista Home Premium desktop and
installed Office XP on it. I was running Office 2000 on the XP computer. I
copied the Outlook 2000 .pst files over and opened them in Outlook 2002. They
appear to work Ok except that, when I set up recurring appointments, I cannot
open them. The error messages says the items are not valid. I can delete them.

Also, I had appointments which did not copy over; they just disappeared. I
believe they were all recurring.

The new computer has a 60-day free trial of Office 2007 which I have not
installed and I cannot find the folders for it in Windows Explorer. What is
the solution to fix these corrupt items?

Thanks!
Clint

Outlook 2002 is not supported on Vista. Problems with recurring appointments is one of the problems that has been reported by other users. See http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/vista.htm for more info.

The trial should be preinstalled - just open it from the start menu to activate it.
