Cannot open "Read Mail" in Internet Explorer 7

When I'm in Internet Explorer 7 and click on "Read Mail", I get an error
message that says: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or
file. You may not have the appropriat permissions to access the item."

No problem reading Email using the Outlook 2003 icon.

I'm not sure exactly when this began, but it seems like it started sometime
after I upgraded to IE7?
