Cannot open pps e-mail attachments

Forgive me if I'm saying something that you find obvious, but I have way of
knowing how much you know. You say you downloaded it. Did you install it
after you downloaded it?

If so, when you try to open a pps attachment, what happens? If you get an
error message, please quote it verbatim.

What happens when you SAVE the attachment as a file on your hard drive
and then try to double-click on that saved .pps file in Explorer?
 
"no program associated with this file go to folder
options and create one"

So, did you?

same message. ( no program associated with this file go to folder
options and create one. ) Thanks Roy
 
From the Start menu, All programs --- select & run Powerpoint viewer & then open your attachment file.
 
Hi,

A stupid question perhaps, but did you install the viewer after downloading
it?

I have the same problem. However, if I save the attachment I can open it. In
control panel it looks like there is an application associated with it, but
it still won't open from the email attachment. Any help willl be appreciated.
