Cannot open Powerpoint 2000 Presentation with 2003

I am having clients that cannot open PowerPoint files written in PP2000
while using PP2003. They can go back to PP2000 and open and save the files
but PP2003 complains that the file is not PowerPoint. Any ideas.

Go to the Help menu and choose Check for Updates. Follow the directions
to install Service Pack 1. That should take care of your problem.

Go to Help/Check for Updates and install SP-1 for Office 2003.
