CAN SOMEONE PLS TELL ME WHERE THE SETTING IS FOR ALLOW MULTI WINDOWS TO OPEN.
M PROBLEM IS WHEN I OPEN ONE INTERNET BROWSER WINDOW AND THEN ATTEMPT TO
OPEN ANOTHER BROWSER IT SIMPLY CHANGES THE INITIAL WINDOW AND I LOSE THE SITE
THAT I WAS LOOKING AT. cqannot open multi ie brosers it will only allow one
9so i cannot compare one site to another etc.... my computer always in the
past has allowed that but for some reason something must have gotten checked
or unchecked in advance settings maybe or reset when i went to defult
settings. thx

Launch Internet Explorer and from the Toolbar select:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced. Scroll down to
"Reuse windows for launching shortcuts", uncheck the
box next to it, then click on Apply.

Open control panel | internet options. Delete files clicking delete all
offline files, delete cookies, clear history.

Click programs tab | reset web settings. Advanced tab and click restore
defaults.

Have you run any tweaking program recently?

IE will not open in new window
Cannot open multiple browser windows
Can't open more than 1 IE window
IE windows closes when you click on a link

Have you tried this?
Tools-Internet Options-Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"

If that is not the problem, then perhaps it is a toolbar you have
added?
Try removing extra toolbars, in particular, the Yahoo toolbar.

How are you trying to open a second window?

try clicking the IE icon to open it a second time.
