I tried to organize mpeg files created with giga pocket
into folders. Iwas able to move them to the folders but
now I can't move them back, copy them, open them or
delete them. When I try I get: "Cannot move 0077. Access
denied."

Same problem with Giga Pocket

I've got something similar. About half of my clips, mostly older ones will no longer play, nor can they be deleted. I've just got dead files taking up space on my drive and I can't seem to do anything about them.

They are .mpeg files. I have not tried safe mode. But I would still like to know why they won't play at all. I've got plenty of videos that I would like to watch, but no longer can.

Mpegs need the matching decoder to that which was used to make them. I'm not
conversant with giga pocket, but a quick look here
http://www.vaio.net/sonyvaio662.html shows it as a pvr. DO you still habve
it all installed? Since it stopped working have you installed any other
software, codec packs etc which may be interfering? Have you tried checking
to see if there is an updated version you cna upgrade to? Have you removed
any esential hardware?
My guess would be interfering codecs if nothing has been removed, which is
then hard to locate iof you can't remmeber which you have installed, or even
if apps have installed automatically!! Try unistalling giga pocket and
reinstalling to try to get the association back.
