Hi,

I cannot open outlook. I uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook and still
receive the error message below:
"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the
Outlook windo. The set of folders cannot be opened.
Errors have been detected in the file C:\Users\Jay\AppData\
Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst. Quit Outlook and all
mail-enabled applications, and then use the Inbox repair tool
(Scanpst.exe) to daignose and repair errors in the file. for
more information about the inbox repair tool, see Help."

Thank you for your consideration of providing advice for this issue.

Tried renaming the .pst file so Outlook creates a new one when it loads?
Might be your old .pst file got corrupted and cannot be deciphered by
Outlook.
