First, in IE go to Tools...Internet Options...Advanced tab, Browsing
section, uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts", click Apply, click
Okay. Close all IE windows, reopen.
If no joy, update/reinstall your scripting engines from here:

If still no joy, go to File Types (My Computer...Tools...Folder
Options...File Types tab)
Scroll down to the URL: Hypertext Transfer Protocol file type, click to
highlight, click Edit, click Open, click Edit (slightly different with Me -
click to highlight, click Advanced, click Open, click Edit).
Application used: "C:\PROGRA~1\INTERN~1\iexplore.exe" -nohome
Use DDE box should be checked
DDE Message: "%1",,-1,0,,,,
Application: IExplore
DDE...not running: <blank>

Hi
I don't know when was it started, IE won't let me open a link in a new
