Hello,

I am running Explorer v6.0.2800.1106 on Windows 2000. I can
access all of the Websites that I need without any problems with the
exception of help.sap.com.

I can successfully display 'help.sap.com' Webpages whose URL ends with
'*.html', but most of the English ones have a URL ending with
'frameset.htm'.

Explorer displays the full URL with a blank screen, but no error
message.

I can view the source, and it seems fine, based on my limited
understanding of html, javascript, etc..

One person in the company has the same issue as me, but others in the
company do not. We checked some of the Tools- Internet Options, but
they did not seem to be the problem. (Though we may have missed
something).

We tried the newest version of Netscape, but were still unable to
display the 'frameset.htm' files from 'help.sap.com'.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

What does the "blank screen"'s View Source show?
A common explanation of this symptom is a redirect which
ought to occur but for some reason isn't able to, e.g. due to
too strict Security settings.

I can view the source, and it seems fine, based on my limited

Is this the source of the blank screen you are referring to
or some other view of the site? Post a link so we are clearer
about what you are seeing.

BTW notice that since the site uses frames extensively
you have to be more explicit about what you mean by source
anyway. For example, View Source using the Toolbar
would just be showing you a page's frameset. Right-click
View Source within a frame would be showing you that
frame's source as would using F6 to first set focus on it
and then use of the keyboard's Menu key to bring up the
same right-click menu.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the reply.. I solved the problem by turning off
'Ad Blocking' in Symantec Firewall, and using Firefox instead of
IE to browse the site. Perhaps IE thought that the 'frameset.htm'
Websites were all ads?

Thanks
