cannot open excel attachment file in outlook express

pls. to explain about the opening excel attachment file in outlook express.
In situation I can open word and powerpoint attachment file but excel file I
cannot double click to open immediately. If I would like to open excel file I
must save excel file in some drive in cpu. before and then I must open it in
excel program, it is not convinience. Why isn't same opening in word or
powerpoint, What 's that problem??
**If I doulble click excel attachment file, it will has a dialoug box
"Windows can not find....
