cannot open db, MSysDb error

[baffled]

Hi, using Access 2000 trying to open a database and get
the following error:

The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the
object MSysDb. Make sure the object exists and that you
spell it's name and path correctly.

Has anyone seen this error? Correctable? Corrupt?

It is probably a sign of corruptions.
