If you are using outlook express,follow the steps below
* Open Outlook Express, go to Tools- Options- Security
* UnCheck Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened
that could potentially be a virus
* If you try an open one of these attachments, you will
see a message "OE removed access to the following unsafe
attachments in your mail: filename"
* Initially this can restrict more file types than you
would like. To be able to turn off the restriction for
selected file extension, please perform the following
steps:
* Click Windows + E keys
* Go to Tools- Folder Options
* Click the File Types tab
* Scroll to the extension you want to change
* Click the Advanced button
* Remove the check from Confirm open after download
* This will immediately allow you to open attachments with
that particular extension
