I HAVE INSTALLED ACCESS 2000 BUT CANNOT VIEW (OPEN OR DESIGN MODE) ANY
REPORTS IN EITHER NEW DATABASES OR EXISTING DATABASES.

ANY IDEAS?

MANY THANKS

CHRIS

Please use UPPER and lower case letters in your posts. All upper case is
considered shouting.

Make sure you have a default printer defined and available in Windows.

Sorry for shouting. It wasn't intended.

Yes there is a default printer and it works fine with all applications.

Any more ideas?

Choose a different printer, load the latest drivers for your current
printer, try again by un-selecting and re-selecting.

I'll try it when I get access to the PC tomorrow but I suspect it's not
going to make any difference. What makes you think it's related to the
printer. No messages are displayed.

I think this because a review of the postings in this and other web
resources suggests that 99% of the symptoms you suggest are resolved by
resetting the default printer in Windows.

Duane,

I removed the printer and re-installed it. That did the trick. Still
surprised why the printer worked with all other applications and did not give
an error in Access. Oh well ...

Many thanks

Chris
