Cannot open ANY FILE apart from the Internet

I installed spybot- search and destoy to delete some
adware I had on my computer. Ever since I first ran it I
have not been able to open up anything on my computer
besides the Internet.

This is the error I have:


This file does not have a program associated with it for
performing this action. Create an association in the
Folder Options control panel.




I would be very grateful if you could help me with this
problem.

Under WinXP Fixes - File Association Fixes
EXE File Association Fix (Restore default association for
EXE files)

If the above fix works, go back into Spybot and check the
Recovery option and go
through the files one by one to see if there is anything
that should not have
been removed.

Try this fix. It did not work for me, but maybe it will
work for you. Steve
