I recently reloaded a server. C: for os E: contained
data. I blew away C: partition, recreated and reinstalled
WIN2K. Of course after windows was doen my data drive is
now D:. Due to consistancy and all my code is written for
E: i need to get this back. Is there a way to move the
system files over to C: and make it boot off C so I can
change D: back to my E: and make everyone happy without
reloading the whole thing from scratch again?

Thanks
Bill

Not really. You probably should have formatted instead of deleted. After you
delete the partition(s) abort the install, then again restart the pc
booting the CD-Rom or setup disks to avoid unexpected drive letter
assignments with your new install.

Look at Knowledge Base article 223188 HOW TO: Restore the System/Boot Drive

detailed there prior to changing the drive letter of your system drive.

Except this does not appear to be a restore situation.
