Cannot mirror server drive

After a hacker got into the system, we now have a
situation on a Win2K Server where drives cannot be
mirrored - the RAID choices are grayed out. The domain
has been rendered useless as well, though Peer-to-Peer is
working for our needs at the moment. It's almost as if
the server has been made to think it's running Win2K
professional instead of server.

Anyone have any ideas on what could have happened or what
solutions I can explore? Thanks - Kevin

Probably the "cracker" compromised the fyle system of your server and then the system cannot recognize the disks as dynamics, wich allows you to have a RAID configuration. And on the other hand, if the server is the only domain controller on your network, then the Active Directory Database could have been compromised too, then the server doesn't have the necessary information to run centralize administration

It sounds hard, but if your system has been compromised by a hacker then I'd be tempted to say that the only real way to be sure thay've not left anything behind (or removed anything!) is to do a complete reinstall and restore from known good backups

I'm sure that's not what you'd want to hear though... :-(
