Cannot make a movie

I loaded my movie through 1394 into my laptop and then proceeded to edit it. After I edit it and tried to save it to a disc or my hard drive it continued to say "Cannot Complete the Save Movie Wizrd." Movie Make cannot save the movie to the specified location. Then I copied it through Roxio onto a disc and tried the same on my desktoip and it is copying it now. Any ideas out there as to why on my desktop which is older than my laptop.
