Dear all,

I cannot logon to Windows 2000 server because of Limited
VIrtual Memory. I've tried to Login using all the three
options safe mode but still fail. How can I increase the
virtual memory without login to the server so that I can
logon to the server?

Although your issue may actually be something else, if you can access the
machine remotely while it's at the logon screen, you can modify the pagefile
size in the registry at:

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management

C:\pagefile.sys LowValueInMB HighValueInMB
example:
C:\pagefile.sys 768 1536

This is a multi_sz, so you'll have to use regedt32, if you're on a W2K
machine (IIRC). After changing the values, reboot the machine before trying
to log on.
