I was working with my counterpart and he set the Default Policy of 'require smartcard to log on' policy in the Default GPO. Now, I can not log onto the Windows 2003 server at all. It requires a smart card, whichm we do not use. He thought a Compact Flash card was a Smart card...

How can I take my server back over and get it to fix the policy? Logging into safe mode does not allow policy changes...of course.

Open Group Policy editor on another machine on the network (start>run>mmc,
file>add/remove snapins, group policy editor, connect to other machine), and
change the setting from there. You'll need to reboot the server for the
policy change to take effect.
