I am running Outlook 2003. I left a company 6 months ago and was tied into
the server when I worked at the office. Last week - due to very poor sending
of emails - I went into email accounts and deleted the profile of the server
email account and then created a new account and tied it into my ongoing
email provider.

The emails are sent accurately and quicker now, but I do not have access to
any prior emails. I recovered the contacts and calendar through a synch with
my Treo. How can I locate the emails through Outlook and then readily access
them alongside the new emails?

thanks

Did you use an Exchange server and offline folders or Cached Exchange mode
where you worked? If so, by removing the profile that contained the pointer
to the OST file you were using, you've destroyed the ability to access any
of your old mail without buying a tool to convert the OST to a PST.

If, however, you were using a PST, it is most likely in the (hidden) folder
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook . Open
Windows Explorer and enter the path I specified into the Address field, then
click Go. You should see the PST. Note - if you did use an OST, it should
be there as well.
