Cannot load XP Pro.

Has anyone experienced multiple lockups loading XP pro.
I've attempted to load XP 17 times and it always locks up
at installing networks, with 32 minutes showings and at
the same place. I do a clean start with a formatted disk
each time. (Only way I can get it to load) (My disk is for
a new system) I must format the disk each time I retry to
load. I have A drive, C hard disk, mouse, Ethernet card,
video card, and sound card. Just the bare basics. I'm
totally discussed with the program now. Any help would be
appreciated.

Is your card supported or conflicting with something? Remove the ethernet
card and rerun the install. If the install completes, then add the
ethernet card.
