Cannot load upgrade

Currently on Microsoft XP small business edition that
came with my dell laptop. the operating system is
windows xp home edition.

I am trying to load powerpoint and keep getting a message
that I do not have previous software to qualify for the
upgrade. I have also tryed to upgrade to XP Standard
Office and it also says that there is not preualifying
software on my computer. what do I have to do to get
Powerpoint 2002 on??
 
Either go out and purchase the full version of PowerPoint, or go to eBay, and see if you can purchase an earlier version of PowerPoint so that your upgrade package has something valid to upgrade from.

Or wait until October 21 and get the Office 2003 upgrade, as it includes
PPT. :-)
