I have been trying for the last three days to load the
game service for IL-2 forgotten battle. It will not load
because it says I already have it loaded on my computer.
The fact of the matter is I do not.

The problem started when I system restored my computer,
at that time for some reason it took a file on of my game
service, I could not delete or install it, so I did a
search for UBI.com and used a program destroy it 2000 to
a limiting it from my computer.

I still cannot load the program it still tells me that I
have a version of the game service on my computer which I
cannot find anywhere, except for the control panel. In
the control panel it is listed as (UBI.com), and it will
not remove it, it tells me, an installation support file
could not be installed, the system cannot find the file
specified, what shall I do, how can I rectify this
problem.

Thank you very much,
Maurice Cunningham

Hi Maurice,

Here's how to uninstall a game when using Add-Remove programs fails:

Step A: Start your computer in Safe Mode by holding down the F8 key.

Step B: Reinstall the game to the same folder it was installed to originally,
and then try to uninstall it again using Add-Remove programs. If
that fails, delete it's folder and any save games in My Documents.

Step C: Install and Run Regcleaner and if it finds any stray registry keys for the
game, delete them: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download460.html
