The system is suddenly delivering this message. cannot
listen on port 6515 Make sure tcp/IP transport is set up
correctly ... what is the problem

Something is trying to use port number 6515 but this port is already in use by another application. Run "netstat -an" at the
command prompt and check to see if you have 6515 in the listening state. Do you happen to know what app is trying to use
6515?

Thank you,

You haven't got a valid IP. The 169.254-address means that your computer
can't find a DHCP-server.

hi friends.. pls use this method for your solution when u get this erro
" Cannot listen on port 6515. Make sure your Tcp/ip transport is setu
correctly and no other applications are already listening on the port
. I tried several options with netstat -an..etc..but none proved an
luck to me. Atlast, i got the solution for this.......U too can tr
this.. All the best :)

1) First remove the virus scanner which you are using.
2) Uninstall Tcp/ip protocols and client services etc.
3) Run a tool called winsock.exe ( freeware ), which fix up you
registrys and clears if any errors. Also for detailed report go the inf
box of ur winsock.exe and do the methods of clearing the registry whic
is mentioned there.
4) Restart the system and install the tcp/ip protocols and thei
services....
5) Check it now...

Please let me know ur feedbacks in this.

Thanx and Regards,
Vimal Raj
