If someone has had this problem, or knows a solution,
please help.
I had a working PC with WinXP and Win 2000 installed. The
motherboard starting acting up recently, showed no video,
so I replaced it with a new, different one. The new
motherboard is 6LX66 Rev:1 from Acorp International.
I am installing from a CD-ROM. After loading all of the
drivers, still during the initial blue screeen, SETUP
shows a message that it is now starting Windows. At this
point nothing else happens. SETUP stays at this screen
forever.
I tried several times installation, changing BIOS
parameters of the motherboard, turned off all shadowing,
loaded the BIOS defaults, then the Setup defaults, etc.
I have minimized the hardware configuration to the
possible minimum: I only have one hard disk, one video
card and one CD-RW, from which I am installing, mouse and
a keyboard. Nothing happens.
I tried installing Win2000 as well but with exactly the
same problem.
Please help!
Best regards,
AIBC
