Cannot install SP for IE 6

I can get to about 3% installed and then I get a windows
logo testing error saying that this doesn't pass that
windows logo testing. Can anyone help? Also the
dotcomtoolbar got installed (damn spyware) anyway, when I
search using the address bar it goes to the dotcomtoolbar
search site and I cannot get it to just open a normal
search without going to the dotcomtoolbar search site can
anyone help with this?
