Cannot Install NetBUI

I just loaded WinXP Pro and I am trying to connect to my
network at work. However, I cannot load NetBUI because
when I go to install it, it is not there!! Why is this and
how can I go about to get it installed?

NetBEUI has been obsoleted in XP:

The NetBEUI Protocol Is Not Available in Windows XP

But it's still hiding in the background if you need it.
It's just no longer supported.

You probably want to migrate your network to TCP/IP as soonas practicable.
