I'm trying to copy a Table (made up of 20 cells) in Excel 2003 via Ctrl+C and pasting it into Word 2003 as a Picture (either windows metafile or enhanced metafile), but recently I have been unable to do this.
Pasting it as a bitmap still works, but results in a large word document file size. When I typically paste an excel table as a picture metafile in word, there will always be a temp file created in the "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.MSO" folder, but until recently, this is no longer the case. This folder is not set to read-only and I have already tried deleting the entire contents of the folder.
Does anyone have a clue what's wrong? I'm on Win Xp SP3 and using Office 2003 with the 2007 comptaiblity pack installed.
