My WinXP Home Edition would not boot up after I did a
system restore and then did a undo that restore so I used
my disc and reinstalled windows. Now everything seems to
work but I receive the above message every time I start
or reboot my computer. I have upgraded my creative live
sound card drivers and reinstalled the creative program
and drivers several times but I still get this message
every time on start or reboot. Please help. I am not very
knowledgeable about computers so any help would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Wade

Try this, Open Control Panel, open System, go to the Hardware tab, click
Device Manager, click the plus sign next to Sound, Video and Game
Controllers, select (highlight) your soundcard, right click, select
uninstall. Now reboot. This should force the system to redetect your
soundcard and reinstall the drivers.

If this does not resolve it, you should contact Creative tech support about
this issue.
