I'm trying to fix automatic updates and one solution is importing a SensLogn
key unfortunately for me when I import a .reg key file nothing happens. The
information never makes it to the registry.

anyone experience this one?
thanks

I do not gey any error message and it says it was successful but I don't see
key imported. Do I need to reboot to see it ? I've hit refresh, closed and
restarted regedit , Im not sure why its not working

Possibly the file is improperly constructed or otherwise invalid. Is it
built for Windows XP? Where did you get the file? Is it a big file, if
it's small post it here and someone may see something amiss with it.
Does Regedit only do this with the .reg file in question or does it do
it with all reg files?

It might be a security program blocking the Registry change it needs to
make. A few of the programs now doing this are:
Ad-aware's Ad-Watch
McAfee VirusScan and/or Antispyware
Norton AV
Spyware Blaster
Spybot> Tools> IE Tweaks
Spybot- Teatimer
Spysweeper
Windows Defender
Zone Alarm (free) 6.5 Reported to be fixed in later versions.

In the case of Zone Alarm 6.5 it actually has to be uninstalled. Make sure
the Windows Firewall is turned on until you reinstall Zone Alarm.

Boot into Safe Mode with Networking with Networking and try the change.
