Cannot import any spreadsheet into Access 2003 DB.

I lost the ability to import Lotus 123 spreadsheets into my Access 2000
install. Installed my new Access 2003 and still cannot import Lotus 123 and
now I am getting an "unrecognized format" error for Excel spreadsheets that I
just completed work on. Is there a dll or something that I need to look for?

MS quit supporting lotus after R5. so from 2k on, MS
products just don't work with lotus. the only work around
i know of is to file>save as your lotus files as an xl
file. then import the xl file. I have lotus 2k and it will
do this. in fact lotus will save it as a xl file faster
that xl can save it as an xl file. at work i use xl97, 2k
and xp. at home i use lotus and xl xp. perfer lotus.
