well I got suckered by the new IE7, but alas, Microsoft and their billions of
dollars still make bug(ful) programs and seems I cannot find the IE6 Install
file, will keep looking, but be warned, even though it is Microsoft, their
software still has bugs
stick with trusty IE6, seems they will need a few more months of getting the
bugs fixed, ah well, still gotta love windows, not like there is anything
else we can use

If you unistalled IE7, IE6 should be right there waiting for you to use it.
You could also, depending on your OS have used System Restore (ME or XP).
IE7 is beta and the download page and links warn you that you are doing this
at your own risk...you can never expect beta software to be problem free,
that's why they call it beta.

I cannot seem to unistall this IE7
tried the add/remove windows components and cannot seem to get that IE7
out....

Hi sumdumschizo :-)

IE7 Beta 2 Public Preview testers are asked to post their comments and
questions to the following newsgroup. The folks there specialize in helping
you with problems such as yours and others specific to the Beta 2 program,
and the IE7 Beta team is also assisting in this group and anxious to hear of
your experience and comments. So please post your question to
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general newsgroup.

On the web:

In your newsreader:

Hope this helps.

problem solved, I did the system restore, back to safe and stable IE6
thanks for your help

Glad it's fixed. For future reference, should you try it again. You have
to check the box "Show Updates" at the top of Add/Remove Programs and you'll
find it near the end of Windows Updates.
