cannot get windows to start up

Computer into unmountable boot volume. I allready tried the cd to boot in the
recovery screen, typed, R, and data is transferred from my cd until it stops.
At the bottom of the screen it reads, Examining 152587 MB Disk 0 at Id 1 on
Bus 0 on iastor...

any suggestions as to what I can do to get this computer going?

Some computer makers offer downloadable 'flash' software to repair the BIOS
on the machine by booting to a disk with those files. If you have a floppy
drive on the system, this option may be available to you.
