I have 2 PC's in a workgroup ( not a domain ). Both PC's have a single ( but different ) account set as administrator. When I start Remote Desktop, I get an error message that I do not have the right security settings to continue ? Any suggestions. I try to log on to the second computer as administrator

Any suggestions

Why not try VNC
It works much better than Remote Desktop

That highly depends on what you need and the performance you expect. RD
will give you better slow-speed performance while VNC (depending on the
flavor you get) will give you some flexibility you don't get with RD.

If you are going with VNC, I suggest UltraVNC.

What is the exact error message?

Is this over a local LAN or the public internet?
