Cannot get movie maker to work

When I try to capture video from my analog camera, I get the following message:

Windows movie maker has encountered a problem and needs to close...then it tells me it has created an error report and asks if I wish to send it.

Any ideas.

Send it - they do look at these reports

i also get the error report thingie but do microsoft ever ever reply to these error reports or do they just collect them to have a good laugh over a few beers
has anyone ever had a reply to the ''sent error'' reports

I can assure you we do use those error reports to see what problems people
are having with Moviemaker and to track down issues. They aren't tracked
individually so you won't get an email but we can post a link to a Kb
article or something like that if a common error occurs. Then when people
submit that same issue in the future we can point them there for further
information at the time they submit the error.

For everyone that submits those error reports I'd like to thank you as
you're really helping us make MovieMaker a better product.
