Cannot format cd rom

After I started to burn Audio cd's on this computer, I've lost the ability to
transfer over any JPG files and cannot format the cd rom drive. Any ideas on
where to start looking for the fix?
 
CD-ROM stands for Compact Disc-Read Only Media, If you meant CD-R for
Recordable start looking at the burning software you are using for
"drag-and-drop"
