cannot find server

When I go to some websites, it will load the whole site
then it will click and switch to a "this page cannot be
displayed" screen with only this, http:///, were the web
address goes..how do I stop this?
 
With IE open, go to Tools > Options > Advanced. Scroll down to Search. Check
"Just go to the most likely site." Click OK.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
