Cannot find server or DNS Error

After getting rid of a Trojin on my PC I started
receiving the message above,I have done it all I beleive
to fix the problem, and the error is not with all web
pages but it does stay consistant with the pages that
wont display. The only thing I havent tried is
reformating and with everything except not being able to
go to certain web sites and log in to them reformating
isnt an option at this point, so does anyone know a
special tip or trick to fix this problem.
 
It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.
