Since system administrator change LAN Settings / Proxy server setting.

My iexplorer will get following message from time to time.

The page cannot be displayed

....

Cannot find server or DNS Error.

I have to ask system administrator check server to let me get internet again
but only last for few days or few hours I get the message again.

I scaned for spyware, but only found some cookies

Anyone know why?

Thanks

What websites are you getting this on?

Is it intermittent or is it continual when you get the messsage?

Are you sure the site isn't blocked by the proxy server?

This meesage is a generic message meaning your browser cannot connect to the
server at the IP it knows for the site and it doesn't mean that you have a
DNS problem.
Could be MTU, blocked at proxy or any number of other things.

Try:

Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings ->
Uncheck everything.

And it's not DNS related.
