Cannot find server/no page to display

I sign up online with aol, but if i want to open internet explorer i always get the message "cannot find server, no page to display..." i am online and i don't see why internet exlporer cannot find server. this problem just came up, and maybe it happened becaue i upgraded to ie6. maybe something is wrong with the settings. i just can't use internet explorer and it is very annoying. can someone please, please help me? thanks!
