Lionel

I cannot bring up any webpages in IE6 on my XP laptop. I
get a page that says "The page cannot be displayed" and at
the bottom of the page, it says "Cannot find server or DNS
Error". I am able to ping yahoo.com and my home network.
My outlook express works fine and I can send and receive
email messages. I do not use a DNS server on my home
network. My other computers work fine so it is not the
ISP. I deleted some spyware via Adaware and Spybot. They
say my laptop is clean now. Any suggestions?

Go to: http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/
Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct (below):
http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates: "hijackthis.log")

Next, go to the below location:

Sign in, go to the "Spyware and Hijackware Removal" section.
Press "New Topic", copy and paste hijackthis.log into your new message.
