Hello,
I receive a cannot find server - page cannot be displayed message when I try
to access my smc7004ABR router web page. Without the router I can access the
internet but there are some sites that I receive the same error. Those sites
are ok because I can access them from a different computer. The OS is
Windows XP Home. Any suggestions???

Hi Ron,
Clear your caches and Open the command RUN and type:
CMD click OK and in the Prompt command C:\>ipconfig /flushdns
Press/Hit Enter on your Keyboard/Keypad and then type exit
press/hit enter and try to Reboot.
Hope this helps

P.S is your Router have built-in Firewall?.

Hi Nass,
Thanks for your reply. I will try what you suggest. The router has a built
in firewall but I cannot access any of the router set up or option pages.

Aha, your Router not connecting to the ISP for some reason, you may need to
Use your MAC (your Pc) address for your ISP to allow connection.
Foregive if I will be fuzzy/not clear, to late at night here, but you need
to establish connection between the Router and ISP line first to have access
to the Internet.
I mentioned MAC, because when you set up the Modem you register the Mac
address of your machine not the Router, now the Router registering it's MAC
which your ISP will not allow even if you can see Trafic and green light on
your Router Interface.
That one of many possibilities by the way, do you have Wireless ADSL Router
or wired, do you use SSID encryption or open for your nieghbours to have free
Internet access? becareful first be sure and eliminate the doubts and be safe
than sorry.
Did you installed the software for the Router on your computer, if you did
then open your browser and type the http://192.168.0.1 to bring the Router
Webpage browser and configure it to connect, read the Document came with it,
it may be on the CD read it first and then apply.
