hi i have installed my hard drive once before and all was well, but my comp
was going very slow so i decided its time to re-install windows, however i
cannot find my other hard drive in my computer option. does somebody know
why??

Do you see it listed during the booting of Windows? If not did you do
anything with the bios settings?

Did you physically remove it from the computer then reinstall it? If so,
verify the cable/s are connected.

yes mate i see it when i re-boot windows, i have gone to computer management
to see if it needs re-formatting but its not there to format. i have just
changed the power cable to my motherboard, i have 4 slots for them, so i
thought it would be ok. in the bios settings i selected auto detect, and it
shows the 400 gig drive. but not in my computer option.
i have drives c and f showing but that is my other one, as i partitioned it
when installing windows.
the new one before showed as drive g.
any idea's????

Is the drive you can't see a physical drive or a partition on one of the
drives you can see?
